Best of Brisbane Tour

• Newstead Brewing Co: After your pick up, the day begins with beer tasting at the original Newstead Brewing Co (Doggett Street) where you are treated to a paddle including some from the core range, plus maybe a few seasonal releases or one-off beers. Your guide will awaken your senses as they take you through the main beer ingredients, add some witty, historical commentary, and enlist a brilliant Newstead team member to walk you through the brewery and explain the complete brewing process
• Green Beacon: A short jaunt around the corner brings you to Green Beacon Brewing Co, voted 2018’s Champion Medium Australian Brewery, where their nautical theme carries through the various craft beers on offer. With seasonal releases throughout the year and a refreshing core range, Green Beacon encompasses the community spirit brought back to Australia after worldly travels
• Archer Brewing at International Hotel: Archer Brewery is located in Spring Hill underneath the International Hotel. Maybe you’ve had a meal upstairs, but unless you’re in-the-know it’s easy to miss this on-site brewery. The brewery equipment has been in place longer than most of the others in Brisbane, and the beers have a fresh new flavour with their core range in cans and some unique, one-off brews, all focusing on delicious local Australian ingredients
• All Inn Brewing Co: The day ends with a visit to All Inn Brewing Co. They’ve not only got an updated core range, but are constantly creating some new and exciting flavours that you may find on tap. Since you know what you like by now, the choice is yours when it comes to beer tasters – but your friendly guide will offer suggestions if you get stuck
• Bachuss Brewery: Alternatively, you may end the day by visiting Bacchus Brewing where you have the chance to sample a variety of beers from a wide range of ever-changing options. Bacchus is known for their extremely unique and creative beers: some feature local produce, others pay homage to pop culture, and a handful satisfy the sweet tooth (one of our favourites is their Snickers-inspired ale), so you’re sure to find a few that tickle your tastebuds

Dash of Brisbane Tour

• Newstead/Green Beacon: These neighbouring breweries, situated in the Newstead and Teneriffe areas of Brisbane, are staples in the Queensland craft beer repertoire and an ideal place to start your tour. Sample their core ranges – plus maybe a few seasonal brews if the timing is right. You will visit both of these Queensland brewing icons, learning about the history of each and discovering differences of flavour across their ranges
• Aether Brewing Co: You will have the chance to check out one of Brisbane’s newest breweries, where you will receive a warm welcome and cold beers. Their taps are always changing, serving anything from an IPA to a sour, so come along to see what’s on today
• OR Semi-Pro Brewing: They’re not full-pro, they’re Semi-Pro, and they offer a solid range of awesome beer to suit everyone’s tastes. Bearded men wear pink at Semi-Pro, and it’s easy to get distracted by the on-site video games. Suffice it to say, this crew has created a welcoming space amongst the brewing tanks, with food trucks on site and great music in the background
• OR Mystery Brewery: The third and final venue may be one listed above, or we may switch it up and visit Archer Brewery, Brisbane Brewing Co., All Inn Brewing Co. or one of the other outstanding craft breweries in the area!

• Tours operate daily except Mondays
• Pick up for Best of Brisbane Tour is at 10.30am from the Gresham, 308 Queen St, Brisbane City or 10.45am at Daily Planet Cafe, 228 Wickham St, Fortitude Valley
• Pick up times for the Dash of Brisbane Tours are 9:45am and 2:20pm from the Gresham, 308 Queen St, Brisbane City or 10am and 2.30pm at Daily Planet Cafe, 228 Wickham St, Fortitude Valley
• Flexible with drop-off locations within the city based on guests’ needs and requests

Duration

• Please allow 6 hours for the Best of Brisbane Tour and 4 hours for the Dash of Brisbane Tour
