Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary Tickets

Lone Pine was great. The whole family enjoyed the bird show, koalas, exotic birds and feeding the kangaroos. My young daughter especially enjoyed hearing all the different animal sounds and getting her photo taken with the koalas. Will be back again soon. Great family day out.

It was exciting for us!! We could see a lot of koalas, we held a koala! We could feed the kangaroo too. So cute! And we could get cheaper tickets than usual when we used this site. Customer service is good. I was glad to finding this site!

It was a nice place to visit. Although we would have liked a few more animals in the barn ( not just holding a chicken). Thought we would be able to touch koalas. Quite basic really. Paying extra for a park map is a bit silly. Whole experience only took an hour.

Highly recommended for young ones. As a young family, there was a lot of parking space which is a bonus when you have a young one. The walk around wasn't too tiring for them as well an the animals on display were definitely displayed well with easy visual access for my 2year old.

Really fantastic place! Even though it rained the entire time we were there it was still great, unfortunately not much is undercover so it’s best on a dry day. However, Experience OZ was very helpful when we had questions about the sanctuary and the time we’d need to see the whole place! 5 stars for customer service, thank you.

We had great family time at koala sanctuary. We took a photo with a koala, pat kangaroo and feed them with our hands. It was a unique experience. We got to see so many animals. The bird show was amazing! Best of all, we got to see the platypus swimming around. Worth visiting.

We had a wonderful day. Although our visit to Lone Pine Sanctuary was sticky. The grandsons loved seeing all their favourite animals: Flying foxes, wombats, snakes as well as the koalas. The Bird of Prey show was a highlight and we all enjoyed the information as well as the show. Lone Pine remains one of the highlights to a visit to Brisbane.

It was easy to purchase through this website. This is the first time I am using this website. They had PayPal as well. The discounted price gave me good savings especially since we were 3 people. If you are visiting as a huge family or travelling with friends, this saving is worthwhile.

A great place to connect with nature and animals. Kangaroo feeding was awesome. Lots of Koalas to see and can take pics with them. Staff were really friendly and helpful. A variety of different birds. Great place for educating children on various animals and birds. Highly recommended.

The park is easy to get to via public transport, easy to get around and many animals to see/interact with. Well signed-posted to each area, we went in high season so a large queue for the food and drinks + the Koala cuddles but a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I think this experience was the best in Australia, all the staffs were amazing and my mother enjoyed a lot. I bought the tickets from the Experience Oz website, it was perfect way to enjoy a lot. I got one picture with koala, it was perfect experience. Thank you!

Fun place to visit with a lot of experiences available like petting a Koala, feeding Kangaroos. You can definitely spend the day here and you get to see loads of other animals. It's not as big as let's say Taronga Zoo and you don't have those many animals so it is a bit expensive in that sense, however, discounts through Experience Oz made it worthwhile.

The sanctuary was really beautiful, we had fun feeding the kangaroos. Touch them and it was exciting! Very nice variety of animals that are there. Very accessible by public transport or by car. Really big parking. In short words: it was amazing!

Cheaper to buy tickets through Experience Oz thank you! Animals were well looked after and enclosures were clean. Alas, the people visiting are somehow forgotten. It was a very hot day, not enough shade, no water access along the walk only available in the toilets, well what we could find anyway. Feed for animals from coin facility took my money but no feed, when asked I was shortly spoken to by one of the attendants, no money back. Our toddler had an allergic reaction to something, maybe the sanitizer and we rushed around for a cool spot and had to jump the what seemed to be a 100 person long cue for drinks and water in the cafe. to get some ice to cool her down, lucky we had antihistamine for her as who knows how long it would have taken for first aid. Much too busy and too hot to be there so left after 15 mins. I suggest taking an umbrella and all your own food and drinks as the cue can take more than half an hour to order. A vending machine would be handy. Will return one day when it is cooler as I would love to see the koalas and spend more time enjoying mother nature but they def need to look at customers needs whilst they are visiting.

Nice experience. We were able to use the tickets on the same day. Great discounts. I strongly recommend Experience Oz. You won’t be disappointed. We were able to pat the koala and visit all the animals in the sanctuary. Take pictures and there’s no queue for purchasing the tickets.

Beautiful place to get up close and personal with the koalas, kangaroos and other Australian animals. I was disappointed when I got to the park and saw that I could have bought a family pass there for less than I spent on the tickets that appeared to be discounted on the Experience Oz website.

Loved it. Beautiful day out and peaceful for myself. Lots of pushy overseas tourists but was able to ignore and focus on what I was there for. It is a beautiful place basically in my own backyard! With all that is going on in Australia at the moment, at least some creatures have a safe haven.

Easy and convenient to purchase and use straight away. Enjoyed by the family and friends who attended. We spent the whole day at the Sanctuary interacting with the animals and attending the talk seminars and feeding. The most favourite was patting and feeding the kangaroos. My partner and I travelled the East coast of Australia and Lone Pine Koala was on our route. We both wanted the chance to hold a koala and this was the perfect place to. The great photo was available for the purchase of you holding the koala for a cheap price. There was also a bird show which was pretty cool. A great day out for all ages.

Heaps of koalas on the show and plenty of other Australian animals (e.g. dingos, raptors, platypus, wombats, kangaroos). Also, they had several engaging shows throughout the day. It’s a small sanctuary, but it was well worth the visit. Not too far from the city, you can catch a ferry to the sanctuary.

We took a day in Lone Pine Sanctuary and booking via Experience Oz with a better rate. Lone Pine Sanctuary is a good place for kids to touch koalas and feed the kangaroos. It’s a good experience to have photos with Koala and Snake also. It’s your turn to go.

We took a photo with a koala. It was free if you are going 'meat a koala' time and only available with your camera. If you want to hug koala, you have to buy photo tickets. We wanted to buy a photo ticket, but it was sold out. We also enjoy feeding kangaroos and wallabies. They were very friendly.

Great place to visit and get up close to such beautiful animals! There are also other plenty of other animals to see and the dog show was another highlight of mine as well as feeding the kangaroos. We spent about half a day there and then carried on but there are some great spots to sit and relax too.

We went to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary during our east coast road trip. Even though we have arrived only 90 min before closing, we found it to be sufficient to see all the attractions. Comparing to other wildlife enclosures there were obviously plenty of lovely koalas, but we found koala photo experience a bit overrated.

It was great, hand feed and interaction with kangaroo and wallabies. Have alot of koala. But the park were not really big. Took about 1hours to finish watching everything. Overall it is a good experience, they even have water grass dragon anywhere is the park without closing it!

There is an excellent place! So many wild animals we have seen. We fed Kangaroos , hold a koala , observe birds and much more. Perfect choice for people who like wildlife. Everybody can find something for themselves! Honestly we can reccomend that place!

Lone Pine is a great place - with free parking on site! You are greeted by flying foxes as you walk in and several types of native birds. There are so many koalas, you’ll be able to enjoy them as you move between the other animals. When we were there, they woke up around lunchtime and started eating and moving around. Super cute!! Also a great place to hand feed kangaroos, see a birds of prey show and sheepdog show. I would visit again if I get the chance.

Overall a very enjoyable and pleasing day there has been and still appears to be many improvements to the property. It was a great day shared with a family bringing them together with multiple generations. More interaction with animals and handlers would be great for offering better knowledge and education when it comes to understanding our vital ecosystem.

Wonderful place to meet Koala and it's not too far from Brisbane CBD. There are multiple ways of getting here, I would recommend taking the scenic route of boat/ferry if you have time. Do look out on the time table as there are a few meets and greet and showtime around. This is recommended for Koala/Kangaroo lovers.

Took my visitor from China and she loved it! Taking my overseas visitors there from now on. Such a brilliant introduction to not only our unique wildlife but also to Australian culture. The staff were very friendly and their animal presentation talks were so informative and entertaining. At no point did we feel it was too long or boring. I am Australian and have seen all these animals in the wild, but I learnt so much from the animal keepers talks and have grown so much in appreciation for these amazing creatures! You can get up close to all the animals, even the platypus! We arrived there midday and got to all the animal presentations on the day's schedule. It's the only wildlife centre that I know of around greater Brisbane region where you can have your photo taken with a koala (the keeper holds it) and you can touch it, for free! We lined up for about 15 minutes but was so worth it for my guest as a unique experience. Thank you Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary for all you do in caring for our wildlife! I came away with a greater appreciation!

Your site had cheaper tickets than the original site. The Australian experience is incomplete without patting a kangaroo and watching koala sleeping in tree branches. Won’t it fall and break its bone? ‘No, not really’ I was told. Thank you for the experience. Our family loved it.

I was a bit disappointed to see some dingos in the cage when I saw some wild dogs on Fraser Island. Also, come with a friend there so he/she can take pictures when you cuddle a koala. There’s no professional photographer. Too bad as it’s the main attraction there. But you should go there if you haven't visited any sanctuary yet.

The Koala Sanctuary is actually a small zoo with many kinds of animals. The shows are worth going to and are quite varied, and for just a dollar you can get some kangaroo food and feed the docile kangaroo lying about. Recommended visit, though won't keep you busy for the whole day like other zoos. Plan for two to two and a half hours, and if you purchase tickets through Experience Oz, but sure to do that a day in advance to give enough time for the actual vouchers to arrive by email, and print them out to save time (otherwise you'll need to email them to someone at the ticket booth so they will print it out).

Awesome experience with Koalas and Kangaroos. One of the best places to visit in Queensland. We were able to hold a koala for some time for a pic and the cost for that moment was totally worthy. Next comes the kangaroo feeding area, which was also great and the best part was the selfie with them. Love to visit again.

A great afternoon out. Being able to feed and interact with the kangaroos and wallabies inside the kangaroo enclosure was definitely a favourite. The only downside was the koala photo interaction was fully booked by the time we arrived, so definitely book this ahead of time!

A great day out for everyone - the queue to hold the koalas was quite long but worth it in the end. Good value at $25 to hold a koala and get a professional photo taken also. You are also allowed to take your own photos on your phone which was great. Would recommend.

Even though it was wet, we all had a fabulous day. Koalas are just beautiful. Staff were all very helpful and the coffee and chocolate cake were all very well made and very fresh. Kangaroo feeding is a must our son had a great time and the Dingo puppies were very cute.

Lone Pine's animal are energetic and adorable, particularly Koala!! They are soooo cute. Even though we arrived there a bit late that holding koala tickets had been sold out, touching koalas are also a good experience, and the photo-taking is available, that is really nice. My family and I have a wonderful experience there!!

In my opinion, there is not much difference between seeing 10 or 100 Koalas or kangaroos. So I prefer a Zoo that offers more than that. Still it is an amazing experience, especially the Bird and Sheep show I would recommend. If you want to get a photo with a Koala you should bring some time.

There are lots of koalas at the zoo. Love the interaction with koalas where we get to pay to have a photo taken and cuddle them. The kangaroos are out and about but maybe they are too full so they took a nap at noon. We experience different kind of animals which is a good memory.

As a solo traveller, I really enjoyed my experience at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary - it was well kept, interactive and informative! It was lots of fun, easy to navigate and provided free wifi and charging places. I would absolutely recommend that people and families should add this to their travel plans!

Not one of the better sanctuaries I have been too. Expensive entry and I would definitely not be happy if I had paid full price. There isn’t enough to see here for that entry price. Many animals were not able to be sighted. Definitely the best koalas though if that’s mainly what you want to see. Ok but better around.

Absolutely Amazing! The facility itself is huge, with so much to see and do, and it is really well planned out. The tours were fantastic. I personally loved how each habitat had their own very personal touches, the platypus is definitely a must! All the animals were so very pleasant. We will definitely be back.

A large variety of Australian animals. Lots of Baby Koalas on our visit. Staff were very friendly and the Zoo was very clean. Very pleasant surroundings with an open plan style. You felt like you are amongst the animals. I would strongly recommend Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary for kids.

It was nice to see and meet kangaroos and koalas, but the name of sanctuary its the same as zoo so a bit disappointed. But the price of the ticket was the best on your website so thank you for that. I did not receive the voucher straight away so I called the customer service and 2 min after the voucher was there.

A fun day out in Brisbane, easy to get there from the city centre. It's a nice zoo where you can see lots of typical Australian animals. You learn a lot about animals and you can touch or feed kangaroos. You can also take a photo with a koala but you have to pay extra.

The sanctuary is well laid out. Educational and easy to navigate. Getting to hold a koala is well worth the wait and line. Staff are courteous and knowledgeable and can answer any question. We had a great time as a family and would highly recommend to anyone.

We had a good afternoon at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, and thanks to Experience Oz I could get a nice discount on the ticket. I wouldn't say it's an extraordinary place, but it was interesting to be able to see animals that I had never before, especially Platypus and Cassowary. There are lots of Koalas and you can get a picture with them for an additional cost at the park. There are also birds, reptiles and other animals so it's not just a Koala zoo. At the end you can enter a natural space filled with all kinds of Kangaroos wich are used to be approached, fed and cuddled, which I enjoyed even more than the Koalas. In the end, I would recommend this place if you are looking to have a nice time around Brisbane. I am not sure about the park ethics though, as the animals were still kept in relatively small spaces to my opinion. Just be aware of your personal responsibility, personally, I always try to favour real sanctuaries where animals have space, as this place looked much more like a zoo to me.

Place and transportation is good and convenient. I was not satisfied with koala photo much. Some officers are too in rush and too strict. It’s once experience and I expect to be more happier with this. Food is good and reasonable. We enjoy with some shows.

Definitely worth the money. The free-flight bird show was awesome if only there’s more show on it would be great. However, the place isn’t huge one day is enough to see it all. Cafe food prices are reasonable as well as compared to most other cafes in parks. Lots of parking available too.

Well kept place. Wonderful to come so close to the animals. Good information and engaged keepers. Interesting information to listen to concerning different animals. Clean and well laid out with easy clean-yourself-possibilities after having visited the different areas. Food options could be better.

Lone Pine is always a great place to visit and not too far from Brisbane City. There are a few shows to see including birds in flight, you will see and learn about raptors capturing food. A sheep dog show, and also see lorikeets feeding. There is so much more than koala's to see including kangaroos, wallabies, dingoes, platypus, birds and reptiles. You can take a picnic in with you or buy food and drinks from the cafeteria which has a large indoor and outdoor dining area.

We got tickets for Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. The day was great for my daughter and I, a great time for kids. Staff were very helpful. Everything was better than expected. My daughter loved the kangaroos. Would highly recommend this place for all of the family.

Lone Pine was amazing! They keep a lot of koalas and there were many keepers to take care of them. Can see koalas really up close. They were pretty active climbing up and down, eating, playing around. You can tell they are doing a good job. I bought the ticket with a BBQ meal and it was just so-so. Perhaps buying food at their cafe is better to allow more flexibility.

We went to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary as a family. It was just an amazing experience through all the exhibits. The best would definitely be the kangaroo and emu petting area. The bird, sheep dog and koala shows were also great! Would definitely recommend!

A must for anyone who wants to support Australia's wildlife, it's not a zoo but a sanctuary so it's all about the animals' welfare for once. The koalas are so cute, personally paying for the koala experience isn't worth it as the lady keeper was very rude and for 25 bucks we had literally 30 seconds before she hurried us along. But its all for the animals so highly recommend.

We had an awesome experience and would highly recommend the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to everyone. Perfect for a Sunday with the whole family, especially a nice adventure for kids. You can cuddle a koala or feed a Kangaroo, how could the day be better?

I was quite impressed with the park. There were lots of animals to see and shows were great. I took my daughter there for the first time and she was so overwhelmed, I especially liked the idea of feeding the sheep and kangaroos, it’s a great way to get the kids involved. There was great signage everywhere, and picnic areas where you can have your lunch and little rest. I would definitely bring my daughter back. I would love to see all the shows which we missed out on.

Not our best experience with Experience Oz to date. Easy to purchase online as always, but difficult to use at the gate. They had to make us email them the ticket, then print it and sign it. Took ages, and was the same price here as it was on the sanctuary website - should have just bought directly through them.

I went to the zoo with my husband, 7 years ago and now with my little one and my cousin, everything still the same, nothing to complain. Even the weather was amazing. Lovely staff members and well-organised zoo. Small, but you can find a wide variety of Australian wildlife.

A must do attraction in Brisbane. You can get the local bus to the sanctuary which is efficient and cost effective. The sanctuary did seem a little zoo like with the koala’, but it was clear they were each carefully looked after. You get to see lots more native Australian animals too!

It feels like the koalas are all squeeze in the sanctuary but it stills a nice experience to get to see the animals from close... but for the good of the wildlife, I preferred to see them on Kangaroo Island where you will easily find many koalas. But I still enjoy my day in the sanctuary.

Fun spot to spend a few hours - 2 or 3 at most. The koalas are fun to see and you can get quite close with no fence in between you. Otherwise, spend an hour time in line and to get a photo holding one. The kangaroos are neat to get close to and touch if you have not done this before. The shows - dog herding and the bird flight show are good. The reptile area is underwhelming as are the park amenities. Keep in mind it is a sanctuary, not a theme park.

Never fails to disappoint, beautiful place with amazing animals, it is very busy and you have to queue for the koala photo which has gone up in price to 25 dollars instead of 18 when I last went. There is a new science bit which is amazing. You can spend a lot of time there.

We had a fantastic day at this popular tourist park. A wonderful display of Australian animals with great opportunities for up-close encounters and photo moments. Great for the whole family with very reasonable entry fees. Don't miss visiting this top class animal sanctuary!

Great day trip. Bought the voucher online and the staff were able to print the ticket at the entrance. The Sanctuary has great signs and maps to navigate around. Great experience to pat a koala and have a photo taken if you didn't want to pay extra for a professional photo.

We had a lovely experience at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary! We spend a half day here and it had everything we wanted to see. Though a bit of a downside is that you need to buy everything at the general store (food, drinks, coffee, souvenirs and kangaroo food) which results and a very long line... Also don’t wait until after noon to buy kangaroo food - at that time the animals aren’t hungry anymore so it is a waste of money.

Very handy to get tickets in the last minute with more flexibility on the date of visit. Much better service than Expedia. One minor comment is that Lone Pine does not accept e-voucher and hard copy of the voucher must be printed and presented at Lone Pine.

We took the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary ticket. It will be an amazing experience to see the kangaroos and the parks as well as the Lone Pine Koala. It's not that far from Brisbane city, you will need to take a bus from the CBD which is about an hour away.

A great experience for visitors and locals with a great range of animals along with the koalas. Very clean environment and helpful staff with a range of experiences to enjoy. Huge area to wander in and feed the kangaroos - if you can find a hungry one! Emus, wombats, birds, platypus... so many things to see.

Lots of parking. Well organised with the different shows and the layout is easy no need to struggle with a map. The line to take a photo with a koala was long but moved quickly. Watching the koalas move around was a great experience. Coming close to kangaroos and wallabies is a lifetime experience.

Great park! A wide variety of Australian wildlife, and lots of koalas You can also hug a koala but it is a bit pricey. Every cage had detailer and good explanation, the place was clean, and we ended up spending around 6 hours there. Totally worth the price!

We had a wonderful day, a perfect place to go to with two little kids. The highlight of kids day was feeding the kangaroos. My husband and I loved the atmosphere, fresh air and nature of the sanctuary. Worth a visit! We definitely will return as our kids begged us to go again.

Convenient, you can redeem your tickets as long as you print them in advance. You can hug the koala and there are fewer tourists in the afternoon. In addition, you can see other shows when you arrive in the morning. It's a really fun place to go and can spend about 2-3 hours to explore! A definite highlight of our trip to Brisbane!

Excellent conditions and very well maintained sanctuary. Spent 3 hours here, not too busy although it was a rainy day. Recommend queueing early for the hold a koala experience and spaces are very limited to approx 50 people per day! The keepers were awesome and made sure the koalas were handled very gently and responsibly. One of the best experiences on my travels!

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary it's an amazing place to visit where you can really interact with animals. We fed the lorikeets, the kangaroos, we also hug a koala and take a picture with him and touched the emu. I thought this was a too much touristic experience but eventually, I did really enjoy it, I would suggest going to everyone, especially if you're not Australian and I don't have kids but I think it's amazing for them as well. There are also tasmanian devils, wombats and so on! Highly recommended!

It's a very nice spot to visit. The sanctuary is not so big but it allows you to have lots of interaction with the animals inside which is hard to find in another zoo. Recommend to visit there as early as possible if you want to hold the koala because the tickets could be sold out quickly.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was a wonderful experience for a day out. The daughter and I really enjoyed ourselves. I would suggest more advertising for photos with your birds, it's a wonderful experience! My daughter and I were the only ones who stayed at the end of the bird show for photos. There were long lines for the koala and snake photos and I feel if there was more advertising there would be interest for photos with your beautiful birds.

What an incredible place, so worth the trip there. More koalas than you would imagine and the kangaroo field is brilliant. The cafe does get incredibly busy so might be worth bringing your own food but I can't recommend this place enough, really nice setting and green and leafy to walk around.

We live in Brisbane and Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is not far from our house. We haven't seen so many koalas in any other zoos. Besides the Koala area, we walked to the Kangaroo hill. You can walk close to them, touch them, even play with them. So funny! Besides that, the parking is free at the front gate of Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and food inside is the same price as in the city. Great Value.

It is an amazing place! Lone Pine is really a sanctuary where you can feel the peace and the relaxed life of them. You can see the love and respect for all the animal there. Is so cool see more than 100 koalas in just in one place, additional you can see the Australian animals just in this beautiful place.

After all these years Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is still a happy place to visit, especially for young children who get the opportunity to connect with non-domesticated animals in the Aussie context. There are parts of the park that need attention to detail with some of the timber work on the boardwalks needing replacement - though still safe - just unsightly. The working sheepdogs' program is my favourite exhibit at the moment. Must go to Lone Pine soon by CityCat with the grandees to give them that experience too.

There is a 6 months validity period when you purchase your tickets from Experience Oz. Good for me as work time is erratic thus needed the flexibility. I think I have not seen so many koalas in my life from other zoos that I had visited. Lone Pine had not only one enclave for the koalas but a few of them. You can see other animals too such as tasmanian devils, wombats, a lot of kangaroos and many more. Really worth the price of the ticket.

I had a wonderful day with my grandson, there was plenty of exploring to do, the variety of animals was great and ticket price great too, the park is in an easily accessible location to the city and the staff were very helpful. I would absolutely recommend a visit!
