XXXX Brewery and Alehouse Tour

I would definitely do it again. We did the XXXX brewery tour in at Milton and we really liked it. The guide was Daniel...he was funny and friendly and you could tell he liked his job... how beer is made was very interesting and all the different beers XXXX has on the side was an interesting side note. But I think the best part and the one thing everyone was waiting for was the tasting at the end... the tour went fast and well recommended. 😊😊

The tour itself was interesting. I was able to do six types of beer tasting, and it seemed that there were few participants at 5 o'clock on weekdays, and we had a very luxurious time alone! I could sit at the table and taste slow if I said the last tasting, greed, but I thought it was fun to do various things such as the beer brewing process! Also, we could walk from the city, so I wanted to save on transportation expenses! I definitely recommend doing this.

Overall an informative and interesting visit - we were able to view and take photos inside the brewery. The video and short documentary presentation at the start of the tour were good. Chris the tour guide was friendly and answered all our questions. The beer tasting was excellent. Even the after tour F&B - excellent food and drink choices at reasonable prices and delicious for both adults and children.

Definitely worth doing. The right level of detail, funny tour guide and lots of tasting at the end. Enjoyed the live music (it was a Friday night) and the food was good too. Definitely, recommend for a fun start to the weekend!

This was a great idea for a gift for my father and father-in-law to experience together. They enjoyed all the information, knowledge and experiences the staff had and especially enjoyed the opportunity to try the many varieties at the end - trying a beer for a wooden keg as opposed to a metal keg was interesting (it tastes so much better). Would recommend this experience to anyone that likes a good old XXXX!

This tour is so worth doing. I learnt so much about the history of beer. We did our tour on the weekend, so the actual plant was not working, it would be really good to see it all happening. Although our guide Ross was very good. Plus you get samples at the end. They also have a great bistro, yummy selection, great staff, also so friendly. Would recommend.

My mate and I visited the brewery for a tour, whilst we impressed with the plant and process and learnt some unusual details about the history of the brewery what really impressed us was the knowledge supplied by the employees. Thanks to Jess who served us a vast array of beers and opened our eyes to many more taste and flavour experiences beer has to offer, also drinking from a glass. Also on the tour, we had a discussion with one of the microbiologists, Kerri, again more knowledge was parted upon us. A very enjoyable afternoon was had! Cheers!
