This place was surprisingly amazing, it was better than expected, the range of butterflies that they had and the colours were amazing!. Learnt so much about butterflies and how they breed. I would say very worth the visit while your spending time in Cairns.
What a fantastic time we spent at the Butterfly Sanctuary!! This place was magical. Our boys (4 and 9) were running after butterflies the whole time and absolutely loved it. So much so that they didn't want to leave and we were almost late for our trip back on the Skyrail. I will absolutely recommend it. Especially to families with kids.
We took our 3 young children to the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and our overall experience was fantastic. The staff there were very friendly and informative making our day relaxing. The kids were mesmerised as well as well educated with all of the information provided throughout the sanctuary. Upon arrival you receive a stamp so that your welcome to leave, and come back later. We did just that, left the centre to go and have some lunch and then were able to take the kids back in for another walk through. Highly recommended. Very peaceful experience.
