- The operator may choose to cancel due to bad weather if safety becomes an issue. If this occurs you will be given a choice to change your booking to another date or be offered a full refund
- Children must be a minimum of FOUR years old to travel on the balloon flight and children up to the age of TWELVE years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the balloon flight. Children aged THIRTEEN to SEVENTEEN years old can travel on the balloon flight by themselves, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the rest of the tour including bus transfers. Children less then FOUR years old may travel with their parents on the tour, but must remain on the ground in the company of at least one parent while the other parent takes the balloon flight and in this situation the parents have the option to fly on successive balloon flights when available. Adult prices will apply from FIFTEEN (15) years old

My mum was visiting from New Zealand, so my sister and I decided we would do something special with her and go hot air ballooning. None of us had ever done Hot Air Ballooning before so we were all very excited. We couldn't even sleep the night before which made us very tired when we had to be up at 3.45am to make it in time for the early morning departure. We arrived to the departure destination just in time to then board the shuttle to be taken to the take-off spot where the balloon was. It was still dark and very frosty, but as we took off, the sun rose and the fire from the balloon kept us warm. It was the most amazing experience to be up in the air in a big balloon. It also surprised me on how quiet it is up there when the gas isn't going. It was seriously stunning!! The views were unbelievable! When we landed, we helped the driver pack up the balloon which was quite fun as we all had to get the air ouf of it. Then we were shuttle to the most amazing vineyard where a gorgeous champagne breakfast awaited us. the food was great and the location was really beautiful. This might be an expensive thing to do for some, but honestly well worth the money, for sure!! WOuld highly recommend this to everyone!!
