Let them get up and personal with some of Sea World’s adorable seals with this wonderful animal encounter. This hands-on experience gives them the opportunity to meet a variety of seal species, including New Zealand Fur Seals, Australian Sea Lions or Californian Sea Lions.
Sea World's Marine Mammal Trainers will teach them about seals, both at Seaworld and on the wild, and show them firsthand just how playful these furry creatures can be.
While this experience doesn't involve getting into the water, you will still get to observe lots of seal behaviours up close, feed them a fish or two and of course, give them lots of pats.
This experience is perfect for kids who want to meet a seal but are uncomfortable swimming. This experience is suitable for adults of all ages and children five years and over (with a minimum height of 110 centimetres).

Exclusions
- Entry to Sea World is NOT included and MUST be purchased separately. Participants arriving without an entry ticket for general admission will not be able to participate in the Animal Adventure Program booked. Admission can be purchased on the day, however it is recommended that you pre-purchase your entry to avoid waiting in line and missing your Animal Adventure

- Seal Encounters are available 7 days a week and have approximately 10 participants per program
- You must check-in at Animal Adventures inside Sea World at least 1 hour prior to the program

Additional Information
- Participants must be 5 years of age or over and be a minimum height of 110cm. (measured without footwear)
- Participants must be able to speak and/or understand English, or have a translator participate in the program with them. There are no complimentary programs for translators. Persons acting as a translator must advise staff at the start of the program. Translators must satisfy all criteria
- Participants must wear footwear
- Participants must have controlled motor movement
- Participants must follow directions quickly to the satisfaction of staff
- Participants must be able to quickly exit the area unassisted
- Please inform staff of any medical conditions during check-in
- Participants must not have any form of disability which prevents them from satisfying the criteria for participation
- Animal Adventures booking is non-refundable and non-transferable
- Guests with disabilities are asked to call Customer Connect on 13 33 86 directly to determine suitability to participate in the Animal Adventures programs. Please note a limited number of special needs programs are available for people with disabilities that otherwise prohibit them from participating
Terms And Conditions
- Participants in Sea World Animal Adventures are only available to Sea World guests, and only on the day of their visit. PLEASE NOTE: General admission to Sea World is an additional cost and is not included in the price of participating in Animal Adventures programs
- Participants acknowledge that they will be entering an environment housing animals. Whilst Sea World takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff, participants should be aware that close encounters with animals will always involve a degree of unpredictability, where quick reaction and strict attention to directions from staff are essential
- Participants release Sea World to the full extent permitted by law from any claim for personal injury, loss or damage arising from their participation in Animal Adventure programs. Participants agree to comply with all lawful directions that Sea World makes in respect of their participation
- Certain criteria must be met in order to participate in each of the Animal Adventures programs. They are strictly enforced to ensure the safety of our guest, staff and animals. All participation is subject to final assessment by the Marine Sciences staff member at the time of attendance. If at any time prior to the program or during the program a participant is assessed by the staff as not being able to fulfil the criteria, they will be directed to leave the program. No refund will be given [subject to any requirements at law to the contrary]

Voucher Information
- A gift voucher will be received by email after purchase
- Give your gift voucher to your Gift Recipient, they will then need to follow the instructions listed to redeem their experience
- Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Upon redemption a confirmation email/ticket will be sent to the gift recipient
